The Beauty API makes beauty and personal care information easier to work with. We collect and prepare product records so developers, retailers and researchers can use product details, ingredients and images in their own applications.
What we build
Our hosted REST API brings beauty and personal care product data into your applications. Teams can search and filter the catalog, retrieve product records and explore ingredient information through a consistent interface. Explore the API documentation.
Our dataset, The Complete Archive, brings product records into a consistent structure. It combines product identities, ordered ingredient lists, a structured ingredient dictionary, barcodes and product images.
The dataset is delivered in CSV, JSONL and SQLite, alongside a product-image archive, giving teams the flexibility to work in their existing databases, applications and analysis tools.
The company behind the data
The Beauty API is a product of The Direct API Pte. Ltd., a Singapore technology company building data infrastructure and software products. We also build The Food API for food, beverage and supplement product data.
Our focus is practical: prepare useful information, give it a clear structure and make it easier for people to build with.
